The unit of the legal clinic and restorative justice at the College of Law/ University of Baghdad held a training workshop on the procedures for filing a civil lawsuit in civil courts for fourth-stage students through the establishment of a virtual court on the forms of lawsuits (alimony, judicial separation, proof of proportion, foreign marriage certification, proof of custody, debt trust receipt). And that’s on the corresponding Thursday 25/4/2024 in the model courtroom of the college.
The workshop aims to train the students of the completed stages on legal skills, how to conduct litigation procedures in civil courts, the skills of preparing reports, writing petitions and response regulations.
The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is the need to intensify the holding of the workshop and training courses for law colleges students, especially the finished stages, to enhance their legal skills and their ability to practice the legal profession in a way that ensures the preservation of the rights of clients and the achievement of Justice.
