Under the auspices of the minister of higher education and scientific research (Dr. Naim al-Aboudi), and under the slogan of accreditation of law colleges programs, a pioneering step towards the development of Legal Studies in Iraqi universities, under the supervision and presence of the head of the scientific supervision and Evaluation Authority, Professor Dr. (Salah Hadi Saleh), the launch of the national standards ceremony for the accreditation of law colleges programs on Tuesday, corresponding to 2/4/2024 at the conference hall at the college.
The ceremony began with the national anthem and the reading of the Fatiha Surah on the souls of the martyrs of Iraq and the screening of a documentary film by the college of Law, University of Baghdad, showing the biography of the college between the past and the present.
After welcoming Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh delivered his speech and then the chairman of the National Council and dean of the college of law, Qadisiya University, professor Dr. Nizam Jabbar Talib, and a documentary film was shown by the vice-chairman of the council, Professor Dr. Salah Abdelkader, containing the six criteria that will be approved by the National Council for the accreditation of law colleges programs.
At the end of the ceremony, the attendees toured the halls of the college, and the tour included a visit to the College Museum, which embodies the ancient history of the college, and in conclusion, the attendees expressed their thanks and gratitude for the good organization and warm reception.
