The Public Law at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a seminar entitled (constitutional mechanisms to combat financial and administrative corruption), presented by the lecturer at the Public Law (Asst.lect. Heba Nima Mansour), on Thursday, 2024/03/14, at the model courtroom at the college.

The seminar aims to educate the academic community and the staff of the college to reduce the phenomenon of corruption.

The seminar included several topics, the most important of which is the definition of corruption, its forms, causes and effects resulting from it and highlighting the principle of the rule of law as the most important constitutional mechanisms in Iraq.

The symposium came up with several recommendations, including deepening the religious and moral concerns as a means of self-control to reduce the occurrence of corruption, the need to coordinate internal measures locally in cooperation with states to suppress that deadly scourge.
