Under the auspices of the dean of the college, Professor (Ali Hadi Atiyah), the college of Law, University of Baghdad, organized a campaign for afforestation and plant cultivation on the occasion of the national day of afforestation, on 2024/03/12 .
The campaign included planting trees and flowers in the college’s gardens and distributing awareness posters, with the participation of the college lecturers, staff and students, which is an important step to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals to preserve the environment, combat desertification, reduce pollution and reduce temperatures.
The dean of the college, Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Atiyah, praised this campaign, calling for continuing such campaigns and implementing directives issued by the Council of ministers, the Ministry of higher education and scientific research and the presidency of the University of Baghdad.
