The psychological counselling and educational guidance unit at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a seminar entitled (electronic extortion) presented by the lecturer in the Public Law (Asst.lect. Huda Faiq Abdul Rahman), on Sunday, 2024/03/10 at the college of Law Building.
The seminar aims to identify the spread of this phenomenon among members of society and work to reduce its spread because of the negative damage it causes to society in general.
The seminar included several topics, the most important of which is the definition of the concept of extortion, old and modern, the extent of the impact of this phenomenon on society in general and individuals in particular, to identify the pros and cons of communication technology, including social media, and how to deal with it in a way that serves individuals without harming them.
