The college of Law / University of Baghdad participated in the exhibition of scientific products of Iraqi universities, which was held at the University of Baghdad / College of Physical Education, in the presence of the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, the administrative Dr. Adnan al-Jumaili, the president of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Baha Ibrahim Insaf and a number of scientific and academic figures, with the participation of the University formations and all his deputy.
The exhibition was opened by the minister of Higher Education, walking with his accompanying delegation along its corridors, which were diversified in various fields. The representatives of the college reviewed the scientific results for the years 2022-2024, the most important of which were:
The College won the first place in the national ranking of Iraqi universities for the year 2023-2024.
Entering the College in many international rankings, especially the Scimago classification, in which the College won the first place locally, the sixth in the Arab world and the tenth in the Middle East.
Obtaining first places in many regional competitions, the most prominent of which was (first place in the virtual Court of international humanitarian law competition for 2022-2023 Red Cross /Oman)
Signing several memorandums of understanding with various parties locally and regionally.
Presentation of the scientific output of the teaching staff from publishing in international publications, in addition to their output in the field of composition and translation, as well as the scientific output of the college’s post-graduate students (Masters and Ph. D.).
The launch of the college’s directory for the year 2024 in Arabic and English, with the establishment of the college’s website in French and a study description for teaching the French language.
The college has contributed to much applied research with various ministries and government agencies to serve the community as well as organizing many contracts of cooperation mechanisms.
