The private law at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a scientific seminar entitled (The court specialized in artificial intelligence disputes), the session was chaired by the assistant dean for Scientific Affairs (Dr. Jalil Hassan al-Saadi) and the lecturer at the private law (Dr. Nesrin Ghanem Hanoun), and in the presence of the college lecturers, staff and students, on Monday, 2024/03/05 at the conference hall at the college.

The seminar aims to introduce the competent court to consider artificial intelligence disputes, discuss jurisdiction in the consideration of disputes arising from contracts and legal acts concluded by artificial intelligence systems, and introduce the subject of artificial intelligence, which has taken a large place in academic and scientific circles at present.

The seminar included several proposals, the most important of which is to resort to arbitration, which is a means of resolving disputes arising from actions concluded through artificial intelligence technologies, an invitation to adopt the idea of a smart court to settle disputes arising from legal actions.
