The college of law at the University of Baghdad discussed a master’s thesis in the public law of the student (Ayed Musa Ali), entitled with(legislative regulation of the neutrality of a multinational employee in Iraqi law), on Thursday, 2024/02/29 at the conference hall at the college.
The thesis aims to identify the basis of the duty of job neutrality, indicate its forms, effects and applications on a multinational employee, and identify the shortcomings in the legal texts that dealt with the public job in the organization, as the duty of employee neutrality is one of the most important duties that all employees must comply with.
The thesis included two chapters, the first of which dealt with the concept of job neutrality and its legal basis, and the second chapter dealt with the effects of the neutrality of a multinational employee on his exercise of public rights and freedoms.
The thesis came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is to speed up the legislation of the law on renunciation of other acquired nationality for employees and expand jobs and positions that include those who consider taking it by renouncing other acquired nationality, the recommendation of the Iraqi legislator to define the duty of job neutrality, define its concept and include it among the duties of public office.
