The college of law at the University of Baghdad in the international law discussed the master’s thesis of the student (wahej Ali Hamza), tagged with (the impact of artificial intelligence on cybersecurity in international law), on Thursday, 2024/02/01 at the conference hall at the college.
The thesis aims to focus on the interaction between artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in terms of their common links and their common impact on stability and international security, as well as seeks to understand the development of modern technologies and their impact on legal structures and international agreements related to cybersecurity to meet common challenges.
The first chapter dealt with the conceptual framework of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity, the second chapter dealt with the uses of artificial intelligence in cybersecurity and its applications, while the third chapter dealt with cooperation in the field of enhancing artificial intelligence for cybersecurity and the responsibility for violating it.
The thesis came out with several recommendations, the most important of which is to establish a comprehensive legal framework for the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of cybersecurity, strengthen the effective role of international cooperation and specialized organizations in the exchange of information and experiences on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of cybersecurity and develop international standards for safety and cybersecurity.
