Under the auspices of the dean of the college of law at the University of Baghdad, and under the title (Together – to create – an environment – rejecting – the phenomenon of harassment), the women’s Empowerment unit at our college held an educational seminar under the title (the phenomenon of harassment, its causes and the necessary remedies to face it), delivered by the head of the Women Empowerment unit (Dr. Rabab Khalil Ibrahim), on Tuesday, 2024/01/30 at the conference hall at the college.
The seminar aims to tighten the punishment imposed on people practicing this immoral phenomenon and not allowing such issues to be solved by clans, which allows the perpetrator to escape punishment first and repeat this act on several victims on the other hand.
The seminar came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is to pay attention to the proper upbringing of the children of society through several ways, including paying attention to the upbringing of the child from a young age on good morals, focusing on strengthening his religious and moral conscience through establishing the morals of the apostles and prophets and considering them as great examples of out of it.
