The rehabilitation, employment and follow-up unit at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a seminar entitled (positive thinking and its impact on the psyche), delivered by the lecturer at the Criminal Law (Asst.Lect. Rassul Ibrahim Khalil), and in the presence of first-stage students, on Sunday, 2024/01/07 at the college building.

The seminar aims to introduce positive thinking and its importance in achieving success and its role in facing stressors through achieving the proper balance and flexibility to deal with life’s problems and challenges.

The seminar included several topics, including the definition of positive thinking and its characteristics, factors affecting positive thinking, the components of positive thinking, the effects of positive thinking and its benefits.

The seminar came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is to look at things positively, leave pessimism through meditation and relaxation, give exile plenty of rest, not exaggerate problems and develop them, arrange thoughts and organize them by priority, set goals, try to focus on them, get away from looking at the past and other bad experiences, repeat positive and motivating phrases and stay away from self-blame, the mind stores what it hears and seeks to achieve.
