The rehabilitation and employment unit at the college of Law, University of Baghdad, held a seminar entitled (grievance against the administrative decision), delivered by the lecturer in the Public Law (Dr. Rabab Khalil Ibrahim), and in the presence of college lecturers, staff and students, on Thursday, 2023/12/07 at the conference hall at the college.
The seminar aims to introduce the grievance against the administrative decision, how to complain, its procedures and conditions.
The seminar included several topics, the most important of which are the concept of protest, the conditions of it, the time limits for it, the concept of protesting from the administrative decision, the conditions of protest, the time limits for it and the entity before which the grievance is submitted.
The seminar came up with several recommendations, including amending the Iraqi State Council Law No. 71 of 2017 to allow complaining about decisions related to the Civil Service rights of employees, similar to complaining about disciplinary punishment decisions imposed on public employees.
