Within the framework of the memorandum of Understanding signed between the University of Baghdad and the University of Urmia in the Islamic Republic of Iran, an introductory meeting was held by the Electronic Program (Google Meet) on Sunday, 2023/11/19 at 10 AM, between the dean of the College of Law, University of Baghdad, with the head of the international law and the dean’s assistant for administrative and teaching affairs from the Criminal Law, with the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and professors of the Department of jurisprudence and Islamic law at Ferdowsi University.
Serious discussions have been held in the fields of scientific cooperation between the two colleges in various fields, including the exchange of professors and joint teaching, writing theses and dissertations through joint supervision, holding joint scientific conferences where there is a scientific conference near Urmia University under the title (the place of Science in the Islamic Civilization barrier), writing Joint Research in various fields and specializations of law, exchange of members of the editorial board in the Journal of both colleges, scientific cooperation at the student level of student exchange and holding mock competitions (courts), cooperation between the two universities in cultural, social and religious aspects because of the common links between the two countries between the two peoples.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to prepare a draft memorandum of understanding by the College of Law, University of Baghdad to be discussed, amended, and added As soon as possible.
