The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Unit at the College of Law, University of Baghdad, conducted a scientific seminar entitled (Software Accreditation Standards), delivered by the lecturer at the Public Law (Prof. Dr.Ban Salah Abdulkader), in the presence of college lecturers, staff and students, on 2023/11/15 at the conference hall at the college.
The seminar aims to shed light on the importance of quality assurance and the need to obtain institutional and programmatic accreditation to identify and recognize the tasks of the institution (college) and increase confidence in the results of its work.
The seminar included several topics, like the relationship of quality to obtaining accreditation, the definition of institutional and programmatic accreditation, discrimination, institutional accreditation, and programmatic accreditation.
The seminar came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is to activate and ensure the standards of programmatic and institutional accreditation and the continuous cooperation of the members of the educational institution to ensure the quality of programs.
