At the college of law/ University of Baghdad, the private law held a workshop entitled (The mechanism of publishing in the international repositories), presented by the teaching staff at the private law (Dr. Mona Naeem Jaaz), and in the presence of the lecturers, staff and postgraduate students at the College, on Monday 2023/11/13 at the model courtroom.
The workshop aims to use bibliometric tools in publishing scientific research, compiling and interpreting statistics related to scientific journals in order to ensure their use and monitoring, determine the extent of their use at the national and global levels, obtain as much information as possible about academic journals and publishing fields, as well as analysing data and identifying the most productive scientific periodicals .
The workshop came up with several recommendations, the most important of which is to check the magazine’s sobriety before publication by not being on the bell site for predatory and hijacked magazines, and to stay away from publishing at offices, and to stay away from publishing in for-profit magazines.
