As part of the opening of the International Entrepreneurship Week, the Criminal Law held one of the training sessions on mock trials for students applying to join the team that will represent the College in the first virtual Court Competition held by the scientific society of the Union of law colleges – Arab law under the supervision of the lecturer in the criminal law (Asst. Lect. Duraid Walid Nazzal, the instructor of the team, on Monday, 2023/11/13 on the model courtroom at the college.
The competition will be held through the participation of a group of Arab universities and will be in two stages, the first is a remote preliminary, and the second stage will be for teams that have passed the preliminary stage and will be hosted by one of the universities belonging to the United Arab Emirates.
The college of law has been keep on participate in Moot Court competitions to achieve multiple goals, especially improving the methods of Legal Education, moving from standard education to education by practice and analogy, exchanging roles, and producing quality outputs from students capable of working in the finest law firms.
