Ibn Sina e-learning unit at the College of Law at the University of Baghdad held two workshops for postgraduate students in the preparation and writing stages entitled (Using Bibliometric Tools in Writing and Publishing Scientific Research), the session was chaired by the head of the Ibn Sina e-learning unit (Lect. Zeina Rajab Hussein) delivered by the lecturer at the private law (Dr. Mona Naim Jaaz), on Sunday, 2023/11/12, at the model courtroom at the college.
The workshop aims to introduce the types of approved international magazines Clarivate, and Scopas, introduce the types of sober and predatory international magazines and how to distinguish between them, explain the impact factor of the magazine and how to calculate it, as well as calculate the Hirsch index (H-index), internet applications to find sober international magazines compatible with the research topic, and internet applications to identify predatory magazines.
