About

The college library is one of the most important university libraries specialized in legal sciences in the country and provides its services to faculty members in the college and to university affiliates and researchers in various state departments.

The library was established in 1934 AD. It expanded significantly after postgraduate studies began in 1967-1968, and the library’s share of financial allocations increased, enabling it to obtain references and to subscribe to many periodicals in various languages. It became a special section for references, periodicals and postgraduate students.

The efforts to build the library faltered in 1980 when the war broke out between Iraq and Iran, as well as after the imposition of the blockade in 1991, when financial allocations decreased and communication with scientific channels was cut off after it was not possible to obtain periodicals and modern publications.

However, after the developments that took place in 2003, the library witnessed a quantitative and qualitative growth in terms of references and periodicals, as well as the services provided by its staff to professors, researchers, and students.

It should be noting that the library contains legal and political literature and includes books on other subjects.
