The thesis aims to identify the extent to which international responsibility can compensate for the damages of natural disasters resulting from climate change, as global warming is one of the phenomena that threatens the security and safety of the environment and human life on the planet, in light of the annual rise in temperatures.
The thesis also included three chapters, the first of which dealt with climate change and its relationship to the natural disasters resulting from it, the second chapter dealt with the obligations of states in facing disasters resulting from climate change, and the third chapter dealt with the responsibility of states for damages caused by natural disasters resulting from climate change.
The most important recommendations of the study are the need to develop the rules of international law with stricter rules of persuasion for industrialized countries, as the first party that causes the largest part of the emission of greenhouse gases that cause global warming and the resulting natural disasters that threaten the safety of people and life on the planet, support reaching an international agreement formula Binding deals with the issue of compensation for damages caused by natural disasters resulting from climate change, expanding the scope of international meetings and conferences periodically in an attempt to overcome obstacles and overcome differences over legal frameworks for organizing a legal tool at the international level to compensate for damages resulting from climate change that is of a binding nature for the states parties .
