The College of Law team at the University of Baghdad participated in the ninth Arab Moot Court competition held in the State of Kuwait, which was hosted by the Kuwaiti International Law College for the period from 5-7 March 2023 in attendance, with the participation of (25) teams from (14) Arab countries, in their belief in the complementary role that the competition offers to the people of the country Arab from various Arab and Gulf countries.

The team participating in the competition consisted of students: Tabarak Ali Majeed from the third stage, Shams Falah Hassan from the third stage, Wahaj Ali Hamza, a master’s student in the International Law branch, and Sarah Iyad, a master’s student in the International Law branch. Dr. Nebras Ibrahim Muslim, a teacher in the International Law branch, took over the task of training them. 

For his part, the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ali Hadi Attia, met with the participating team, in the presence of the Head of the International Law Branch, Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Khalil Jaafar, where the Dean presented letters of thanks and appreciation to the coach of the team and the female students participating in the competition. He also praised the students’ abilities to deal with the developments imposed by the world of the small village in Globalization and information openness through legal frameworks and legislation to protect our society and our civilized and religious culture in its cultural and moral wings in a way that excels those challenges in defending issues and topics that occupy the culture of society, wishing them more giving to serve our ancient university.
