The event began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech delivered by the Dean of the College. Sayyid Murtadha Al-Mudarrisi then delivered his lecture, highlighting the virtues of Zainab (Peace Be Upon Her), her distinguished position in Islamic history, and her remarkable qualities of patience, steadfastness, courage, and strong faith. The lecture also addressed her significant role in conveying the message of Imam Hussein’s uprising and preserving its principles. Furthermore, it emphasized the valuable lessons embodied in her life, particularly sacrifice, patience, responsibility, and the defense of truth.
At the conclusion of the lecture, the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ali Hadi Atiya, presented a Letter of Appreciation to Sayyid Murtadha Al-Mudarrisi in recognition of his efforts and valuable participation in commemorating this blessed occasion.
