On the occasion of the International Day for Tolerance, observed annually on November 16, the College of Law – University of Baghdad reaffirms its steadfast commitment to promoting a culture of tolerance and fostering values of peaceful coexistence and respect for diversity within the university community and society at large.
Observing this day aligns with the college’s mission to uphold the rule of law, build a society based on justice and equality, and reject all forms of violence. It also reflects the college’s academic role in preparing a conscious generation capable of contributing to the protection of civil peace and the promotion of human rights.
The college also encourages its students and staff to enhance constructive dialogue and cultivate a positive spirit in communication, contributing to the creation of a safe university environment where opinions are respected, rights are safeguarded, and the values of tolerance essential for a cohesive and progressive society are embodied.
